Another of my favorite Parisian Bistros. "Great Place." I went to La Palette, as a result of my good friend 

John Lee telling me about it. John went to Paris once or twice just about every single year, and this was one of his favorite spots. I went there for the first time in 1999 with my good pal Raoul M. It was during the

Prete d Prete d Porte Fashion week 1991, and Raoul's girlfriend Lisa who was an editor at Marie Claire Magazine, and our friend Vicky who worked for Jean Paul Gautier were both going to be working in Paris for the shows. One night wehn Lisa and Vicky were having dinner at my restaurant Bar Cichetti, Lisa said to me, "Danny. Why don't you and Raoul come to Paris when Vicky and I go for the shows?"  She didn't have to ask me twice. Once Lisa asked me to go to Paris with my pal Raoul, I booked our palane tickets in no time flat.

At the time, I had my restaurant Bar Cichetti, the 1st ever Venetian Bacaro (Venetian WIne Bar) in the United States of America. I created it along with my business partner Tom "T" ... Also at the time, I was crazy about this girl Frankie Rayder, who was at the time one of the Hottest Runway Models in The World.

I knew her and had a major league crush on her, and thought that maybe in Paris, if I was lucky I could spark something up with her. Did I?

The first word that comes to mind when you enter the Hoetel Costes,, located just around the corner from Paris’s iconic Place Vendôme, is sumptuous.

The hotel's bar is equally glamorous, liberally decked out with fine furnishings and lit by chandeliers. You’ll rub shoulders with hotel guests enjoying their time in the City of Light, as well as other travellers and Parisian fans of the hotel’s gorgeous aesthetic. DJ sets go on till two or three in the morning, spinning a range of eclectic tunes to keep you entertained as you imbibe a range of delicious cocktails, wines and beers. The drinks menu is as eclectic as the music, featuring the fine wines you’d expect from an upscale French hotel, along with expertly prepared cocktails.
